As part of Henry Schein One Canada, you will work with products to support the Canadian Dental Practice Management business. Our on-premise products are well established with strong customer loyalty while our cloud product customer base is growing every year!
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a a Technical Account Manager. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with top Canadian customers to understand their technical and business needs, providing expert guidance on product usage, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to craft effective solutions that adhere to industry best practices while proactively monitoring client performance metrics and managing escalations with support and engineering teams. Additionally, you will uncover customer requirements, gather feedback for product enhancements and contribute to the knowledge base.
As a Technical Account Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned account contacts understanding their technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on product, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure clients achieve their desired outcomes.
- Proactively assess client usage and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and proactive support. Review open support cases regularly to help drive a high rate of closed cases.
- Manage and resolve client issues promptly, coordinating with support and engineering teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Become an expert in our software and services, contributing to the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with Manager of Strategic Accounts to uncover customer technical requirements and business needs, driving the discovery process.
- Work alongside Manager of Strategic Accounts and Project Manager to gather and distill customer feedback, consistently relaying this information to the product and engineering teams.
Availability:
- Travel within Canada will be required averaging up to 4 times per quarter
- This is a hybrid role, with one (Tuesdays) days in office, to facilitate brainstorming and team building. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC.
Qualifications
- 2-3 Years Experience in a Solutions Engineering, Partner Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, Technical Support, or any other customer-facing technical role.
- Proven track record for professional relationship development with Large Enterprise clients
- Exceptional customer-focused attitude, with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities in a deadline driven environment
- Experience in the dental or medical industry an asset
- Software Demonstration Skills and asset

The posted range for this position is between CAD $75,000 - CAD $85,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
