What you’ll be doing

• Build and operate highly available, secure, and scalable cloud platforms (mainly AWS, Azure as needed).
• Design resilient cloud networking — tackling connectivity, latency, and security across hybrid/multi-cloud setups.
• Manage cloud databases like Postgres and SQL Server (RDS, Aurora, self-managed) with a focus on performance, reliability, and DR.
• Lead DevOps and SRE practices — championing “you build it, you run it”, automation, and DORA-driven improvements.
• Build containerised environments with Docker, ECS (or Azure Container Apps), and Kubernetes (EKS or AKS).
• Embed cloud security best practices into everything — infra, code, pipelines, and runtime.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders on delivering high-quality solutions that make a difference to our customers.
• Continuously learn and drive your professional growth.
• Develop tools or automation that accelerate the development process whilst improving the developer experience.

Your technical skills

• Deep cloud skills in AWS and/or Azure: proven track record of architecting and managing complex solutions in AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, EKS, IAM) and/or the equivalent services in Azure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Postgres and SQL Server in cloud environments, including performance tuning and HA/DR strategies.
• Passion for cloud-native engineering and DevOps. Naturally thinks in terms of distributed systems, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD, and automated operations. "You build it, you run it" is how you work.
• Containerisation and Orchestration skills: extensive experience deploying and managing production workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), ECS or Container Apps, and Docker.
• Security-first approach: strong track record of embedding security throughout the entire cloud development lifecycle – it’s non-negotiable for you.
• Developed robust CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

Our Recruiting Process

3. First interview (technical Q&A + coding exercise, 1 hour 30 minutes)
4. Second interview (in-person, 1-2 hours)
